I have 2 websites on the same remote server. One one of them, which is quite
small I get summary and hyperlink reports without any problems. On the other
one, which is more than 1GB, I get "Server timed out" when I trying to get
any report. I am using FP 2003 and 0.5Mb connection

Is the problem in my or the ISP end?

Thank you
Karl Eric

While there is no limit to the number of files., or total size of
website, that *FrontPage* can manage, some systems do have limits,
especially web servers that impose time limitations on processing web
requests. This will include the "Recalculate Hyperlinks" command
(seen as "Processing Web Updates") on the server that automatically
follows every publish. A web of the size you have may be too big for
the server.
It would be a good idea to break the web into subwebs, where each
subweb can be published individually, and thus considerably reduce the
processing load on the server.

Note that since a subweb is an independent web, you will have to
create and apply navigation, themes, include files, shared borders, or
DWTs for each subweb.
