| Our web host enabled our version control. This causes an issue all of
our users ftp to the server but me. When we recalculate the extensions
the ftp users can no longer update old files using the ftp. Any work
around for this. Disabled the version control still does not help. It
seems to mark all files as read only as soon as you recalc. Never had
this problem on a Win 2k3 server with FP 2002 extensions. Please let
me know if anyone has any resources.

| Do not use FTP with an extended web. This is asking for problems,
since FTP will corrupt the extensions.
Create subwebs for content that must be uploaded using FTP, then any
corruption in the subweb will not affect the rest of the website.
