FP error instead of confirmation page
|
|
|
| FPSE were reinstalled today by the hosting service. prior to reinstall the
form would not submit. But error instead of confirmation page still appeares.
Anything I can do to make sure extensions are working properly?
I changed the detination for the form page using a text editor and uploaded
with WS_FTP. would that corrupt FPSE?
the site is medical - content may be disturbing to some
form

| FTP will corrupt extensions. Any form that uses the extensions as a
form handler MUST be published using HTTP from FrontPage.
The file the form writes to (guestbk26.htm) should be in the _private
folder, which has the correct permissions for writing by the
extensions.

| so what should I do? move guestbk26.htm to _private? I've already published
the web to the server but still get te same error.
currently the form submits all right to guestbk26.htm which is not in
_private. all of the previous guestbk.htm files were not in the _private
folder yet submission and confirmation worked. submission still works now,
but confirmation does not. although guestbk26.htm is not in the _private
folder
