Uploading site created with FP2003 to ISP reusing to upgrade exten
|

| My ISP is unwilling to upgrade their server extensions to allow me to utilize
FP2003 features. But informs me that I will have to use FP2000 or earlier.
They reply that the 2002/2003 extensions are meant for business/professional
use and would restrict "home" users abilty to use user-friendly sites and
features.
I feel this is a "cop-put" but wonder if how I can continue to use FP2003
and its superior GUI (to me), and restrict those features that require the
2002/03 extensions?

| There are no FP 2003 extensions. The latest is 2002, and works with FP
2003.
FP 2000 extensions work with FP 2003. You just can't utilize and features
that require the FP 2002 Extensions.
As far as saying 2002 extensions are meant for "business or professional",
that may be *their* policy, but, they are blowing smoke up your skirt.

I have problems finding ISPs that has the 2003 extention. If I knew then
what i know now ,I would have purchased 2002, I have 2000. Don't see much for
that either. Frontpage 2002 seems to be the Program.

| There are no FP 2003 extensions. The latest (and last) version is the FP
2002 extensions, which work with FP 2000, 2002, 2003.
Here is a list of components that require the FP 2002 extensions (and what
is supported in previous versions:
