| I would be interested in seeing/hearing from anyone who had/is having issues
with this patch. I know that there have been issues with previous patches
including people upgrading to SP1 for 2003 server.
Tom - Would you roll this patch out immediatly or wait a few weeks?

| I've rolled it out. However, we do not use 2003 server. I've put it on
WinXP Pro, and Windows 2000 SP4 without any issues.
I couldn't recommend either way what you do on your Windows 2003 server,
since I've seen so many issues with people who have had problems with the FP
2002 extensions on SP1.

| I am caught in that problem as well. Hot fixes for 2003 server without SP1
will end this time next year, so for those of us that have 2003 server w/FPSE
2003 we will need to either try to install it by then or not be able to
install HF for 2003 server OS by this time next year.
I am still debating on whether we will continue now with the Extensions...

| Tom,
When you ran and after the patch, did you have to run an upgrade of the
extensions in the FPSE admins page or did the patch just replace the
appropriate files with out any futhher interaction? I am sure a restart.
Thanks,
- R

| No upgrade required. Simply double click on the exe file and it's done in
seconds. I don't remember if I had to reboot or not. ;-)

| Yes a reboot is required,
- also best to stop IIS before running it
