FP & IIS Problems Again!

| First, I don't understand why I keep having problems with FP & IIS. I have
used FrontPage since the very beginning and have never had so many problems
as I have with this.
FrontPage was working fine. I could open everything locally
(http://localhost/) but now I am getting that dreaded error again when I try
to create a new site: An error occurred accessing your Windows SharePoint
Services site files. etc.
When I try to open a site I get this error: Documents in this folder are not
available. The folder may have been moved or deleted, or network problems may
be preventing a connection to the server.
I have uninstalled IIS & FP Server Extension, uninstalled FrontPage,
reinstalled IIS & Server Extensions, reinstalled FrontPage. Still getting
errors.
So, PLEASE, someone help me!!! Thanks!!!!

| I'm having the same problem. However, it's with a production IIS 6.0/2003
Enterprise Server.
I've been supporting FP for several years and have setup hundreds of sites.
Most of the time the extension break, at most it involves removing the
extensions, resetting the NTFS permissions, and then reinstalling the
permissions.
However, I've got a site that when I install the extensions the page with
the wheel turning states that an error occured on the page. It never seems
to finish...
When I hit refresh, I get the list of all the sites but apparently the
extensions never finished properly installing as the sites give the error
mentioned below when trying to connect with Visual Interdev or Frontpage.
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
