FrontPage Server Extensions for Windows - unable to _vti

I'm getting the following error message while trying to publish my web site:
Server error: The server extensions were unable to access the file
"C:\documents and settings\Mgallard\my documents\my
webs\mywebs4\_vti_pvt\service.cnf I've already published the site but am now
trying to update some of the files. My ISP is no help. They say I've only
scratched the surface as to allocated spce on my site so this is not an
issue. Someone help me out here.
