ISS is installed and so is FP Server Extensions 2000. When attemtping to
create a new empy web in the InetPub folder under www.root, a message appears
saying "http://mycomputer" does not appear to have Windows SharePoint
Services installed.

Why is this happening?

Thanks in advance for any solutions.

The extensions may be installed, but have you configured/applied them?

Tom,

I thought I had, but perhaps not. Please tell me how to do so.

Also, I've heard FP 2003 needs 2002 server extensions, not 2000.

FP 2003 can use either the 2000 or 2002 extensions.

You need to create the web via IIS first, then you can open it via FP
