FP server extentions are not installed?
|
|
|
| ISS is installed and so is FP Server Extensions 2000. When attemtping to
create a new empy web in the InetPub folder under www.root, a message appears
saying "http://mycomputer" does not appear to have Windows SharePoint
Services installed.
Why is this happening?
Thanks in advance for any solutions.

| The extensions may be installed, but have you configured/applied them?

| Tom,
I thought I had, but perhaps not. Please tell me how to do so.
Also, I've heard FP 2003 needs 2002 server extensions, not 2000.

| FP 2003 can use either the 2000 or 2002 extensions.

| You need to create the web via IIS first, then you can open it via FP
