I have created a Biztalk solution to test the database lookup
functoid.
The solution has maps which works well without the database functoid.
Having the functoid returns the blank (or does not return any value at
all).

The steps which i follow are as follows.
1.Add a database functid,
2.Add a Error return fuctoid to the right of it(one line down to to)
3.Add a Value extractor functoid to the right of the Error Return
functoid (in line with the database functoid.
4.I just drag a column from the source schema to the database functoid
Fill up the rest of the parameters of database functoid with the
values
4.1)Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;Integrated Security=SSPI;Persist Security
Info=False;Initial Catalog=Northwind;Data Source=localhost
4.2)LookupTbl1
4.3)LookupValue
5.click on database functoid and drag it on to Error return
functoid(to make a connection between database and error functoids)
6.click on database functoid and drag it on to Value extractor
functoid
7.Update the 2nd parameter of the Value extractor functoid with the
value 'LookupValue'
8.click on the Value extractor functoid and drag it on to the field on
destination schema.

I think that this is what given in biztalk documentation for adding
basic functoids to the map.

Am I missing something?

Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks in advance.

I got the prob.. , Its my mistake.
In step 4.3 , it should be replaced with a column in the table which
is to be searched(LookupId) instead of LookupValue.

Thanks,
