| Hi All,
There is a webcast on the Biztalk Rules Engine in which the
presenter indicated that it was posible to install the BRE in a
standalone configuration. I have searched the web thoroughly and
could not come up with any documentation on how to do this. Can
someone point me to any resources that might allow me to test this
configuration please? Thank you.
Regards,
sbalk

| sbalk,
I remember listening to the same webcast. I do believe that
the Rules engine cannot be installed on a separate machine (BTS must be
installed along with it). But you can call the Business Rules engine without
calling from an
orchestration as below.

| Matt,
Thanks for your response, I did invoke the BRE from an external
app and that worked fine but, I was just trying to test the standalone
configuration. I don't understand why the presenter would make that
assertion if it wasn't possible. I'll keep looking(maybe in vain).
Thanks.
