Hi,

I'm running xp with service pack 2 and yes I have updated the rpc thingy but
I still get a problem when I want to remote config my biztalk deployment I
get the following error:

Primary SSO Server 'xyz' failed. Could not import DTC transaction. Please
check MTSDC is configured....

Any help much appreciated.

Might be kicking in an open door, but did you enable network transactions
on the target machine?

Hmmm not sure but my college who hasn't got auto updates on his pc doesn't
have the problem so it must be service pack 2? I have tried changing the rpc
settings in MSDTC and the error message changes slightly I guess its
something to do with what xp 2 does but I can't put my finger on it.

PS. My college has xp sp 1

This may be due to windows firewall blocked your MSDTC. You can fix it by
allowing MSDTC in your firewall settings. see this blog post for a quick fix
