| Hi,
I don't know where did you get this information, but most probably it's
untrue.
During Bill Gates speech at IT Forum 2004 last week, he mentioned BizTalk
server as one of the server products on the roadmap for the next year, as
well as it was also mentioned by Eric Rudder (Microsoft executive) and Bob
Muglia (Microsoft Senior VP). Eric Rudder also announced Microsoft plans to
deliver MSOE (Microsoft Orchestration Engine - free orchestration engine
build into operative system) in Longhorn timeframe that should be for
BizTalk Server the same as MSDE for SQL server.

| This is not true. The Biztalk team is currently working on the next version
which should be out in 2006.

| I doubt MS would have spent the time, money and man-power on BizTalk just to
"dump" it after a successful launch. Sounds like a rumor started by one of
their competitors.

| What you may have heard is that the second part of Jupiter has been shelved
(BizTalk '04 was part 1). That is true, but not surprising and has nothing
to do with BizTalk's future. BTS '04 is second only to SQL Server 2000 in
terms of time and financial investment by Microsoft for a non-OS Microsoft
so it won't be disappearing any time soon.
