bam tracking profile and schemas
|
|
| Matt Brown 2004-11-30, 5:49 pm |
| I have a tracking profile created and want to get some specific fields out
of the message. The schema I have uses imports - so, it imports 3 other
schemas - it doesn't actually have the fields defined physically inside of
it. Well, in the tracking profile editor, as i link up with my
orchestration, I cannot see any of the fields in the schema for the
message - it just shows the main "root" elements definted in the imported
schemas - not of the details, i cannot drill down.
Does this make sense? Is there a way to fix this. I can always use the bam
api or move some key fields into the schema i am using and deal with the
extra maintenace of schemas.
It basically just seems like the tracking profile editor doesn't know how to
deal with a schema that imports other schemas. All the schemas are in the
same project/assembly and deployed.
Thanks for any input.
Matt

| No, I do not have it installed.
I don't see the KB article on support.microsoft.com; is it posted yet?
Thanks,
Matt
