Hi,
We are trying to map some data across by using two maps. First map is
mapping from flat XML structure to nested XML structure. Second map is
mapping from nested XML structure to EDI file format. However both first and
second maps either fail to map across by complaining that there is not
enough memory to complete this operation or map the data but takes an hour
or so (that is completely unacceptable). In both cases this operation takes
all the system memory (our system is 1G of memory) and CPU usage is 100%.

Our source schema in the first map is a set of separate tables in a dataset
(XML flat structure). Converting it to the nested XML structure allows us to
join multiple tables (as we know in BizTalk we can't loop on elements that
are on the same level) and get all the information required for the final
EDI document.

Is anyone aware of this problem and knows how to resolve this issue?. Any
help is appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,

Srikanth

Mapping time depends on the schemas and map complexity. You can 1) try to
split the input file and/or 2) try with KB 884887.

Could you send me your schemas, map, and input instance files? I'm
interested in taking a look at the data.
