Author Will WordML work the same as XML in BizTalk?

Currently we are in the process of designing a web based document exchange
system(using ASP.NET) that will create xml documents. These documents will
need to be converted to PDF.

At some stage later on we may add advanced functionality and use BizTalk.
Would there be an issue if we used Word to create our templates(as designing
a document for PDF using XML is quite difficult as you need stylesheets to
get the formatting of the document write) to convert to PDF.

If we use Adobe Element Server we can convert to PDF from WordML i.e. we can
create Word documents(as these are similar to the design of PDF) and then
save them as XML(allowed in Office 2003) and then use this as our XML. If we
were to use BizTalk this would then be XML data that would be inputted into
BizTalk. Would this work or is this not viable?

I will appreciate your help!

I believe that all Word 2003 XML conforms to the Word schema which is
available for download from the Microsoft site. You should be able to use
this just like any other XML document in BizTalk Server 2004.
