HI,

I am trying to install Biztalk 2004 on our development
box. Installation goes fine but when I try to configure it
I get this error at the very last screen after setting up
all the groups and accounts for a remote SQL
server.Following is the error message.
"Failed to deploy Biztalk Assembly C:\Program
files\Biztalk 2004
\Microsoft.BizTalk.GlobalPropertySchemas.dll
Unspecified exception :Cannot open log for source {0} You
may not have write access."

I checked the permissions and I setup the permissions for
the current domain group to full control to the complete
hard drive.
I am not sure what else to do here. I appreciate your help
in advance.

Thanks,

Mir Kamran

Thanks alot. That was the problem as for some how the user
was in the guest group and admin group.Guest group's
policies were stopping him from accessing event log.Once I
took him out of the guesst group, the installation went
fine.

Thanks Once again.
