BTS 2004 Configuration Problem
|
|
| Przemo 2004-03-31, 1:48 pm |
| During deploying BTS Solution in VS.NET 2003 I get such
an error:
-------
[Microsoft.BizTalk.Deployment.DeploymentException] Cannot
open database BizTalkMgmtDb on server win2003test.
A Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator problem
prevented connection to the Configuration database.
Transakcja została już jawnie lub niejawnie przekazana
lub przerwana
(my translation is: Transaction has been explicitly or
implicitly interrupted or transfered)
--------
Same problem is when I add ReceivePort with BizTalk
Explorer
I have changed DTC configuration to accept network
clients via DTC Security on both server and client
(developer tools)
Configuration of my solution is as follows:
Server -> Win2003 Server + BizTalk 2004 + SQL 2000
Developer + all updates
Client -> WinXPPro + Updates + VS.NET 2003 + BizTalk
Developer Tools (I have not applied Q828758, Q329433
because there is no download on microsoft.com!)
Can anyone help me?
Thanks.

| Take a look at %Program Files%\Microsoft BizTalk Server
2004\Documentation\Installation Guide.htm for details on the Q fixes
required for the various Operating Systems and it provides links with
information on how to obtain them

| Are the two machines not in the same domain orare they just standalone
systems in a Workgroup? If so, you may have to add the turnOffRpcSecurity
registry entry as well. See the online document for section titled:
"Troubleshooting Configuration Errors" and this contains information on
creating this key.

| I got these update from Microsoft Support. Also changed
some keys in registry (supposed by Microsoft). It didn't
work.
I have instaled all VS.NET, BTS2004 Server and BTS
Developer Tools on Windows 2003 Server and it works. I
can test it now.
So what about WinXP? No one knows
