Our company is planing to develop with BizTalk 2002 on our development
servers and the migrate to 2004 edition for deployment on our server.
Are their any compatibility issues we should be concerned with?

Are their signifigant benefits to running BizTalk 2004 from
installation, orchistration, mapping, etc..?

Regards,
Jeremy

BizTalk 2002 and BizTalk 2004 are very, very different products
(architecture, implementation, etc). You will definitely want to go
straight to BizTalk Server 2004 within all environments if that is what you
are planning on for your production environment.

Sorry, I didn't answer your last question. BizTalk Server 2004 will provide
better performance and provides tight .NET and Visual Studio .NET 2003
integration. All Schemas (Specifications in 2002 speak), Maps,
Orchestrations, and most configuration work can be done within Visual Studio
..NET 2003.

If you haven't alread, check out the website
(http://www.microsoft.com/biztalk/) for more details. There you can find
General details, White Papers, web casts, etc.
