I'm wondering if anyone has seen this particular problem:

I can successfully deploy a BizTalk assembly from the command line prompt (BTSDeploy.exe). However, The Wizard interface does not work. After entering all the required parameters and clicking finish, the Wizard window goes away with no visible error.
It does log an entry in the Event Log:

****************************************

A condition has occurred that indicates this COM+ application is in an unstable state or is not functioning correctly. Assertion Failure: !m_punk

Server Application Instance ID:

Server Application Name: Microsoft.Biztalk.Deployment
The serious nature of this error has caused the process to terminate.

Comsvcs.dll file version: ENU 2001.12.4414.51 shp

I have also applied the COM+ Svcs Rollup patch detailed in KB 837119

Any help anyone could provide is much appreciated...

I'm assuming you've installed COM+ Rollup QXP6 for Win XP - can't find
anything else which could fix this issue. Maybe you could try to install
Win XP SP2 Beta, if this is an option for you.

Also, you might try uninstalling BizTalk, then checking whether Component
Services on your machine are properly cleaned up (there should be no COM+
applications there having 'BizTalk' as a part of name - if there are any,
delete them and install BizTalk again.

Are you specifying your machine name as it is ('MyMachine'), or putting in
something like 'localhost' in Wizard dialogs? Were you renaming machine
lately?
