Author biztalk server 2004 administration snap-in failed to initialize

when opening biztalk server 2004 administration, got the following error
Snap-in failed to initailize.
Name: Microsoft Biztalk Server 2004 Administration
CLSID: {...}

i tried to repair the installation by running installation again, but got
error.
also tried regsvr32, but did not work.

i fixed the following problems by modify path variables(wbem). but i
still have problem. when opening biztalk server administration. i got
error dialog:
"failed to access biztalk management database"

clicking advanced, í got
"A connection to Windows Management on "\\.\ROOT\MicrosoftBizTalkServer"
cannot be established: Invalid namespace"

how do i solve this???

I am not sure if this would rectify your problem but you could try this:
run mofcomp <bts install folder>\btswmischema.mof.
