"ActiveView.ColumnAxis is null or not an Object" ERROR -- help needed

| I am running BTS 2004 on a clean install of Windows 2003 Server
(Enterprise). When I try to run a query (i.e. Operations |Messages) in
Health and Activity Tracking app I get the following error:
"The following error occured while executing your query:
'ActiveView.ColumnAxis' is null or not an object"
Any ideas on how to fix or get around this?

| Please install the MS Office Web Controls 10.

| You need Office web controls. Readme.txt contains setup pre-reqs.

| Great, thanks!
My installation on a desktop was fine, so I really didn't pay much attention
when installing it on a Win2k3 server w/o Office. duh... Gotta RTFM more
often
