Is there any throughput testing utility available for BizTalk Server
2004? Something similar to MQBench for MSMQ?
If not, has anyone come across formal BTS 04 benchmark testing
results?
Such a tool can be very useful for deciding the type of license
(single CPU/enterprise edition) meeting specific project requirements

For 2 Way (sync) you could try Application Center Test (ACT) and there are
also 3rd party load generation tools. However, in reality, you also need to
factor in the end-to-end perf of the application not just BizTalk itself.

For 1 Way messages (async) another way is to generate a large bunch of
messages, disable the receive location that listens to a specific folder and
then copy the files across, then enable the receive location.
