Author BizTalk EDI - Mapping Question

2004-06-20, 11:07 pm

Hello All,

I have a question pertaining to the EDI capabilities of BizTalk. Using
the Base Adapter, can I have one map that handles all 4010 - 852 documents,
another one to handle all 3060 - 852 documents and so on. We have several
trading partners (TP) that send us 4010's but each document between TPs has
slight variations. Does this mean I need to create a map for each
tradingpartner's 852 or can I have a generic 4010 - 852 map that would
accomodate all?

Thanks for any guidance.

-Frank

You can have one map, as long as it is designed properly.
