If a file is picked up by the receive port but does not make it to the
send port, where can I find the data? I know that the problem was in
the pipeline flat file disassembler and the document failed the schema
validation due to an invalid date format. Does BizTalk have specific
folder for failed data error exceptions? I know that I can always
find backup of the files in the Covast directory but if it fails in
the the flat file disassembler then it did not reach Covast and
therefore I can not find it.

Does BizTalk have backup folders that are kept at various stages of
processing? And if so where are they located?

Please help!
Thanks,
Annette

If you turn tracking on, and go to HAT and use the Configuration pull down
menu to turn on tracking for your schema, you should be able to use HAT to
find your "lost messages". You can find your message, then right-click and
save message back to hard-drive. I actually haven't tried it with messages
that didn't have a subscription but I think it will work.

Seems like this would be a great utility for someone to write - I started
once but then got off track. The utility would automatically find bombed
messages and save them in a folder.
