I am experiencing a number of instances wher the Analysis manager hangs and
crashes when I open it up and click on the local server. The next time I
open up Analysis Manager, it works fine.

Any ideas on why this may be happening? I installed SP3 after installing
SQL Server and Analysis Services.

Hi Eric,

SP3 for Analysis Services is separate from the SP3 for SQL server. Please make sure that you've installed SP3 for both
Sql Server and Analysis Services.

Thanks,

Thanks! This has eliminated the instabilities we were experiencing.
