Hi Biztalk Users

We tried using Visual Sourcesafe together with Biztalk 2004.

We already encountered a problem with maps: Some of them are stored in
binary (like they should be because of UTF-16), some only in text. The
ones saved in binary format are working fine. But the others are
corrupt.

So if we change them manually back to binary, we have to check them
out, change something, checking back in.

Is there any other (better) practice for using VSS together with
BTS2004??

Thanks a lot!

Regards
Tom

Hi Tom

You could modify Visual Soursafe File Types option so that maps and schemas
are treated as binary.

Navigate to Visual SourceSafe -> Tools -> Options -> File Types and set
binary files appropriate.
