Author Tutorial Module 3 - Message Queuing Error

Hello,

I am working through tutorial module 3 and have reached an error that i
can't get around.

I am trying to confirm the purchasr order in InfoPath. I set the quantity to
8888 like it asks in the tutorial and then i click submit. Infopath shuts
down and i am returned to the partner profile but the purchase order hasn't
moved (even after a refresh). If i look in the event viewer i get the
following error:

Message Queuing has not been installed on this computer.

The STS Adapter has caught an unexpected exception. The exception details
are logged below.
Exception type: "System.InvalidOperationException".
Exception source: "System.Messaging".
Exception message: "Message Queuing has not been installed on this computer.".
Stack trace: " at
System.Messaging.Interop.SafeNativeMethods.MQBeginTransaction(ITransaction&
refTransaction)
at System.Messaging.MessageQueueTransaction.Begin()
at
Microsoft.BizTalk.KwTpm.StsBizTalkAdapter.SendToBizTalkCallback.SendMessageToBizTalk()".

I am running Biztalk 2004 & Sql Server 2000 on the same windows 2003 box in
a workgroup environment. I have followed the steps to setup the MSMQT adapter
and i haven't got MSMQ installed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Casey

Hi Casey,

After you click on Submit, the InfoPath dissappears, and you should be back
in the Partner1 inbox. The message shouldn't be moved from the Inbox. If
you click on the Sent Items of Partner1, you will see that the Confirmation
should be here (because you've successfully sent it to your Outbox). The
physical confirmation message should be stored at
c:\tutorial\filedrop\partner1.

As for your error messages, they may have nothing to do with this issue
that you are facing.

Please let me know if this answers your question.

HTH,
Gary
