HELP Microsoft: Biztalk 2004 and UNOC envelope in EDIFACT documents

| Is it only possible to process EDI documents with the UNOA Syntax identifier
out-of-the-box with Biztalk 2004?
As far as I can see Biztalk 2004 doesn't support EDIFACT Orders UNOC
document types out of the box, but only UNOA. Is there a way to make Biztalk
support UNOC as well, without buying the Covast EDI accellerator?
If you have to buy the Covast accellerator for processing UNOC documents,
the EDI adapter shipped with Biztalk is worthless for countries with special
characters.
As far as I can see Biztalk 2002 is much better for EDI than Biztalk 2004,
and now we have the problem that we have already sold a Biztalk 2004
installation to a customer and apparently we have to tell him that he has to
buy the Covast Accellerator as well. Our customers are small and mid sized
compagnys and we will have a really hard time selling any Biztalk solution
if they also have to buy Covast. The prices are far too high for this
market.
Do we have to go back to selling Biztalk 2002? Or maybe look at another
alternative for EDI processing, since a Biztalk AND Covast accellerator
solution is too expensive for most of our customers.
It's a bit frustrating for me because as far as I had understood Biztalk
2004 should support the same edi documents as Biztalk 2002 and that doesn't
seem to be the case.
Hope for a quick reply.
Regards Paw

| Microsoft now have a hotfix to solve the UNOC envelope problem (KB870996),
but unfortunately it still doens't help me, because it don't allow EAN008.
