Anyone knows how to completely remove an adapter (i.e. remove it from the
registery, BizTalk and be able to create a new adapter with the same name!)

Thank you.

You can do it easily from the BizTalk Server Administration console.
Drill down to : Console Roots | Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 |
Adapters. I have done it before. As a matter of fact, you could delete
those adapters you don't need to use.

The problem is when u need to add a new adapter with the same name? or
transport type? it won't let me do that! even when i've removed the key from
the registry completely.!!

Any idea?

It isn't usually necessary, but you can also delete the relevant entry in the
adm_Adapter table in the BizTalkMgmtDB. I had to do this when I was 'fixing'
my adapter in development
