Is a NT4.0 FTP server not supported by BizTalk 2004 FTP Adapter ?

I have been having problems where the FTP adapter that comes with
BizTalk 2004 cannot delete files from the source NT4.0 FTP server when
a "file mask" is specified to BizTalk as to which files to get. When I
change the file mask to a single file by name, there is no problem in
the BizTalk FTP adapter getting the file specified and then deleting it
from the source server. This problem only shows up if the source FTP
server is hosted on NT4.0 and not if the source FTP server is
Windows-2003.

Is this a known issue? Is this why the BizTalk documentation does not
mention NT4.0 as a supported platform for FTP? Is there a work-around?
