Hi All,

May be this question doesn;t belong here but is there a way I can create my
own MMC? In my BizTalk applications I have various other components and I
want a better way to manage all of them at a single place. Is it possible to
create a MMC similar to BizTalk Admin console from where I can control my
components.

Thanks

hi,

yes. you can create your own MMC snap-in for manage your components using
the MMC 2.0 SDK
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/e...r/html/mmc.asp, additional the
new MMC 2.1 SDK (not release yet) provides a framework for writing .Net-based
snap-in ( Microsoft.ManagementConsole )
http://windowssdk.msdn.microsoft.co...c0b11338caf.asp

also you can create a snap-in using c# code
http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/MMCFileActCs.asp

or, you can create your own application that replace the MMC like this

Thanks Carlos,

Seems like its not an easy task writing snap-ins. Will give it a try.
