| Hi Guys
I am having problem, i created a MSI package to run the biztalk
projects on the servers in which we don't have VS.NET 2003 and i
successfully created a MSI package(Server A has VS.NET 2003) and Run
in on the other server(B doen't have VS.NET 2003). I deployed using
command prompt the Package with DEPLOY=True parameter and the log shows
that it was successfully executed, but the problem is when i open the
BTS Adminstartion console, i am unable to see the Recive and send ports
that i created.
Any reasons or any suggestions post me as soon as possible.
Thanks

| it's possible for ports to not get created because of some error happening
while port creation.
Biztalk would generate a log file (.htm). look into that to see what happend.
Thanks

| Ports are cretaed for sure sid, because i have a messaging scenario in
which when i drop the XML Instance then it's picked up and goes to the
out folder. So ports not working that option is out of question.Any
thing else comes into ur mind??????
I have seen log file also it's clear not failures.
I am stuck i am absoulutely blind every thing seems to be correct but
some how after it's done perfectly i cann't see the ports that i have
created in the BTS Administration console.
Suggestions Guys!!!!!!!!
Waiting............

| I don't think it has to do anything with not having VS.NET IDE on server B.
Is there a differnce in your (account you are connnecting loging in while
running MSI) permissons on two servers.
Make sure you are part of all the groups just as you part of on server A
where it is working. That should include biztalk group as well.
Also make sure you hace rights to the biztalk databases same like you have
on server A.
Thanks
