Does BizTalk 2006 require SQL Server Enterprise Edition?

The BizTalk 2006 Beta 1 installation doc says enterprise edition is
required. But what functionality does it 'exactly' provide, and can you
run 06 on standard.

hi...

you can install bts 2006 over SQL Server with Service Pack 4.... the version
standard, developer and enterprise are supported
