Is there an install option for Biztalk 2004 that will install this DLL and
several others starting "MICROSOFT." that can be found in the following
directory of the install CD(D:\ENGLISH\BTS2004DEV\MSI\PROGRAM FILES)?

During the install process I thought I had selected a fairly complete
install, but this was not included on any of our developer workstations, but
it is needed to automate deployment they way we intend to.

Hi,

The dll will not be installed in any type of installation. It's an
undocumented dll and we do not suggest developers use it to implement
monitoring or management scenario through reflection. The Biztalk WMI
provider is recommended approach. We have provided plenty of reference and
samples on it:

WMI Class Reference
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...-us/sdk/htm/ebi
z_sdk_wmi_reference_node_dlzn.asp

Admin\WMI (BizTalk Server Samples Folder)
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...-us/sdk/htm/ebi
z_sdk_samples_bcwh.asp

So what are the specific tasks that you must utilize the reflection dll to
achieve?

We would like to use it as part of a deployment script. It would be used to
find dependencies on an orchestration so that the undeployment and
redeployment of assemblies can be done in the correct order.

If you have other ideas on how to accomplish this we would certainly be open
to them.

In this case, you should manully copy this dll to use. I'm researching on
if there is any alternative way to do the task. If there is any
information, I will update here to let you know.

Thanks.

Hi,

Currently we do not have any sample code of this. Our developer mentor
mentioned that he has ever wroten some code on this functionality but it's
part of an application. He need time to seperate the code. If there is any
update, I will post here to let you know. Thanks.
