Hi guys,
I bought VS 2005 recently in DVD format. Now when I install, there seems to
be some problem while installing VS in that. It installs .NET framework
correctly .It says a file called mfc80d.lib is not able to open. Could I get
another very same file anywhere.
If any1 of u would be kind enough, plz upload the file(any hosting site
would do) if u have VS 2005.
The path is-: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\atlmfc\lib

Thanks for any help.
If u can sggest some other way, that's fine.

And yes--HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

Akshay,

Generally this problem occurs in pirated CD's !!

Reading files from DVD gives you problem sometime . Try to dump the DVD
content into your local directory and install. If you still get problem
anyway you have a license copy, contact MS support,

Cheers
