flat file schema for variable length field element

In Scheam Editor with a flat-file schema and a record's structure as
positional, how do you define field elements of that record where the a
specific field element's (say field element B) length is variable? Its
length is actually defined by a preceding field element (say field element A).

Is there any way to specify B's Positional Length propery to be the *value*
of A?
