BizTalk Server General - Failure adding new ports

Failure adding new ports

Hallo,
I'm working via Remote connection to Biztalk 2004 running on Windows 2003 server.
I try to add a new port (both Send and Receive) from Biztalk Explorer, but after having choosen "Static One-Way port" from the configuration wizard, Visual Studio environment hangs and
I have to kill the application.
No error message written in the Event viewer.

Any idea about the reason and a possible solution?
