| Hello,
Each developer in our shop has BizTalk server installed on an XP machine in
Domain1. We also have a staging environment in Domain2 and a production
environment in Domain3. Is there any way to give the developers access to
HAT in the staging and production environment without comprimising the
security of Active Directory? It would be simple to do if you could connect
to the remote HAT archive by changing the userid/password of HAT whenever
you're logging in from the workstations in Domain1 - but I can't seem to do
that. Is there a way to change it? How do I accomplish this?
thanks in advance,
Mike (mdenning@ncdoj.com)

Mike,
In order to use HAT within an implementation, you need to be a member of the
"BizTalk Administrators" Windows group. Therefore, it isn't currently
possible (as far as I'm aware) to manage mulitple environments. You also
need to effectively "join" the BizTalk Group for the environment you want to
manage. The following link provides some useful information on how you can
automate the process to an extent.
