Best way to document Channels and Maps

Interested in finding out how the best practice for documenting channel
configuration and maps. We use BizTalk 2002 as an HL7 integration engine. I
need to put together documentation on the channels and the maps. The
channels are not too much of a challenge as they can be described in a few
paragraphs. Maps on the other had can be very complex to describe textually.

What I am thinking of doing is writing an application that converts the map
into a series of ASP.Net pages that represent the map graphically and allow
the user to follow links or use tool tips to describe what they are seeing.
Anyone no of such a tool?
