Successfully been using SQL AIC with BTS 2002 for some time. Currently
developing system where some fields have free text, formatted with a Carriage
return & Line feed (CRLF), or just LF. These need to be preserved. All
works fine until I use SQL AIC to write to SQL database; it appears to strip
out CRs & LFs. I have run some brief tests that seem to prove this. The XML
source that uses the AIC has preserved CRLF etc., and seems to make no
difference if I write directly or use a stored procedure. Anyway, is my
assumption correct? If so, any simple workarounds (don’t like sledge hammer
to crack nut approach)? Any comments, suggestions much appreciated.
