Change to a channel specification not taking

| I have made a map change and implemented it into the channel. The map tests
fine, but while I send the document thru the channel, it still comes up the
old way. I have checked the SQL database, and the channel specifications are
updated. I am using BTS 2000. It was my understanding that by selecting the
channel in messaging manager, opening it up, changing to the new map, and
selecting finish, the change should automatic. Well it is not. it worked last
week, but not today.
Any Ideas?

| I found what I was after. I discovered through a few contacts that when the
channel is modified, and the service is stopped and started, sometimes if the
service is stopped and started too fast, the service does not have the time
to reload the change.
