Hi,

I tried to install Biztalk 2004 in Win XP Machine. I
already had Biztalk 2002 in that machine. During
installation it asked to uninstall the Biztalk 2002. In
the process of uninstalling Biztalk 2002, the machine
hanged. I tried reboot my machine and now Biztalk 2002
is not available in Add / Remove programs in the Control
Panel. But the Biztalk 2002 Directories are there in the
Program Files folder. Now I cannot able to install 2004
also. Any help or round about.

TIA
VB

I'd really recommend a wipe and reload strategy for BTS2004 rather than an
uninstall and install. Both program add a huge number of registry entries
and the BTS2002 uninstall does not clean ALL of them up.

Hello VB,

You may also want to consider using the Virtual PC to load a VPC image with
Biztalk 2004 and OS and other software installed.

It would save you much installation/re-installation efforts.

For example, if you join the "Connected Systems Developer Compmetition".
http://www.csdevcompetition.com/

"Once you have submitted your first competition entry you will be given the
offer to receive the competition kit which contains copies of the latest
pre-release bits of SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005 and BizTalk 2006
alongside a Virtual PC image pre-built with the products installed"
