Hi All,
Biztalk disables ports if the network connection breaks or if sql server is
not availiable.
even though i have a error handler in my orchestration that error handler is
not invoked and i think the reason for that is that port run in a seprate
process.

so now question is what are the possible ways to monitor such a error?
are there any built in tools in biztalk or any other tool from MS which can
help me monitor these king of errors ..
I want to capture this event when port is shutting down so that i can send a
page to support people.
any ideas?
Thanks
siddharth

Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 (MOM) will do exactly what you are looking
for. The MOM2005 Workgroup Edition is a very low cost way to monitor your
BizTalk servers.

WMI raises events when a port gets disabled. you can write a small script to
test your functionlity.
