Hi,

I am a novice BizTalk Rules Engine user. I am trying to build a prototype in
an attempt to try the BizTalk Rules Engine. I could define the rules using
the rule composer and integrate the rules into my .NET application. When I
try to test the policy, I get an exception saying "No user object is
associated with the rule".

I have the following questions :

1) Does the Fact in BTS rules engine terms indicate a .NET object or a .NET
class member ??
2) How do I associate the user object to the rule (or) how can I test the
rules that I have defined in my policy, should I implement any interfaces and
register the assemblies ?
3) while deploying my .NET application, should I have BTS running on the
target machine or is it that I just require the rules in SQL server db and
the rule engine dlls deployed on the target machine.

Any directions to a comprehensive tutorial is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Kiran Banda
