A apologise for posting about HIS 2004 in this newsgroup, but I coudn't find
a newsgroup for HIS 2004...

Here is my question:
I am in the process of developing an application to transmit data from a
windows workstation to a PC running HIS 2004. I am having trouble figuring
out how I need to transmit data from the workstation to the PC running HIS
2004 and getting it to route the data to the proper connection which is
already set up. I am extremely new to SNA 2004 as well as Mainframe
computers. I am wondering if I need to be running certain client\emulator
software or if I can just transmit my data to a certain IP:Port. If I am able
to transmit to an IP:Port does the data I am transmitting need to be in a
certain format? Do I need to add any header information to tell HIS 2004
which LU's to use? As you can tell, I am at a complete loss. Any assistance
would be greatly appreciated.
