Is that possible with biztalk?

I mean for example I want a customer to send some data in XML format, I want
that xml to be inserted in some tables in a db2/as400 mainframe.

Do I need to make something on the as400 machine or can I make it only wit
biztalk server?

Hi,

You can do it by writing a Biztalk adapter or by purchasing one of the
adapter's listed on microsoft site
