MSMQ install problem
|
|
|
| BT04 with MQMST installed.
I want to uninstall MSMQT & install MSMQ instead.
First I download the adapter & follow the instructions - as I can't delete
MQMST I go back to Microsoft & discover the instructions are wrong....Start
again.
Set up a registry setting as required
Unconfigure BizTalk
Reconfigure BizTalk (mainly taking defaults)
Run the adapter setup.exe
The deployment seems to run, except that it doesn't register the
adapter....snapshot from event viewer:.
Product: Microsoft BizTalk 2004 Adapter for MSMQ -- Error 6000.An error
occured when adding the adapter to BizTalk configuration. Either the BizTalk
configuration database was not found, or an Adapter for MSMQ was already
added to the configuration. Click Cancel if you wish to roll back this
installation or click OK to successfully complete this installation, and then
manually add this adapter. For information on manually adding the adapter,
see the BizTalk documentation after installation is complete
The install log is clean (i.e. no errors) & there's lots in the C:\Program
Files\Microsoft BizTalk 2004 Adapter for MSMQ\ folder (though the bin folder
is empty...).
However the adapter is not appearing in the list in BTAdmin, so I try to add
it manually. It appears in the drop down but I get "Creation of Adapter MSMQ
Configuration Store entries failed. - Access Denied" error even though I'm a
local administrator.
I did try - once - to register it manually, but have no idea of all the
parameters, so that's probably a waste of time.
HELP !

Sounds like your user is not a member of the SSO Administrators group.
