Hi, I've run this sample "Sequential Receive Convoy" in BizTalk 2004
by Stephen W. Thomas (http://www.geekswithblogs.net/sthomas)
and processing 100 messages took my 3.00 Ghz server about 55 seconds,
but in this sample processing 100 msg took on 700 mhz laptop about 35
seconds.
How can I configurate my BizTalk Server (and MSSQL if needs) that I
can see similar result(100 msg about 35 seconds).

Hello.

Are you running the exact same message through both the laptop and server?
I think message size would be the primary factor.

Running the same OS?

I always found my laptop to run extremely well compared to my desktop. I
think it was primarily due to all the junk I have running on my desktop.

I think it is hard to do an apples-to-apples comparison between a laptop and
desktop.

Hope this helps.

yes, same msg, same OS

mmm.. I try to use BTServer2004 for my projects.. and I found that BT
works very slowly on my desctop server: Pentium 4 3 Ghz, 2Gb of Ram,
win2k3 sp1. Once I've found Your sample and I've run it on my comp.
I have been disappointed by productivity of my computer. because in
your "readme"-file I saw, that BTS2004 can work faster.
I think, I have big troubles with my BTS or with my desctop.

There is an opinion that you are right about "running junk" on
desctop, because besides bts2004 with mssql on my server stands also
IBM DB2. maybe thats is problem.
