Author Isolated Host not available as a receive host

Hi can anybody help please?

I have created a new Isolated host with trusted authentication and have
added a new instance to it. When I try and assign that host as a receive
handler in a receive port it is not in the drop down list. Only the original
one that was created with the BizTalk installation is available.

Does anybody know why this is?

Cheers,
Gary

Don't you mean an application host? (isolated hosts have no instances)

Did you also create a receive handler associated to the new isolated host
you created for the adapter you are specifying in the receive location?

Hi Tomas,

That was the step I was missing. Thanks very much, your help is much
appreciated.
