Hey everyone,

I just wanted to post that I tried the Beta 1 version of BizTalk 2006 this
weekend and it went great.

The installation was virtually one touch. The install package sought out
and installed missing software for you and the post installation
configuration is much easier than the past. Create your BizTalk user and
grant rights first before you install.

I was able to import a simple 2004 orchestration no problems.

I also downloaded and tried Stephen W. Thomas's 2006 demo of calling a
pipeline in an orchestration:

You dont realize it yet, but this is very useful.

The deploy and undeploy routine is improved (quite alot actually) but I
still have yet to try a few of the new features like generating MSI
packages, etc.

All in all, a very good first look. This version is a significant
improvement.

Anyone with 2006 samples, please post a reply here or mail me at
biztalk.architect@gmail.com
